Chunxue Yang is a Research Scientist at the Institute of Marine Science, Department of Earth System Sciences and Technologies for the Environment based in Rome, Italy. In this role she leads the team in Ocean and Climate Dynamics. Chunxue holds a PhD in Oceanography from Texas A&M University.
Chunxue’s involvement with GHRSST was spurred by her work on the evaluation of global SST products. During her time within the GHRSST Community, Chunxue says that she has benefitted from the great discussions with the SST experts within GHRSST. Her standout achievement as a GHRSST Science Team member has been publishing the paper on the intercomparison of SST products from users’ perspective.
