The 24th International SST Users’ Symposium and GHRSST Science Team Meeting is gearing up to be a rewarding event, thanks to the overwhelming response from the global SST community. We extend our gratitude to everyone who participated by submitting an abstract this year!
In a impressive display of enthusiasm and engagement, this year’s symposium saw an astounding number of abstracts, totalling over 100 submissions. This amount has not only energized our the evaluation committee and GHRSST Community but also speaks volumes about the growing interest and significance of sea surface temperature (SST) research worldwide.
The abstract evaluation committee, was tasked with the challenging job of reviewing and assessing each submission.
We are pleased to announce that the outcomes of the abstract review process have been communicated to all participants. If you submitted an abstract and have not received an email notifying you of the outcome of your submission, we kindly request you to contact the GHRSST Project Office. Reach out to Chiara Bearzotti at chb@dmi.dk or Erika Hayashi at erh@dmi.dk, and they will be delighted to assist you.
As we eagerly prepare for the symposium, we encourage all attendees and enthusiasts to stay connected with us through the GHRSST website and social media platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter). In the coming weeks, we will be announcing the lineup of speakers for the six engaging sessions, along with an exciting repertoire of online presenters.
The 24th International SST Users’ Symposium promises to be a stimlulating event. We look forward to the contributions and interactions that will shape the future of SST research and its applications. Thank you for your continued support, and let us collectively anticipate an exceptional symposium ahead.
